This is another line I heard a lot. Dating a co-worker is most certainly a risk, the awkwardness of a failed date or the weirdness of others when they find out you are dating each other. It sort of depends on what you value more, work or being with someone you love. Chances are, and this isn’t true in all cases, if you are under 18 you won’t be at your job long enough for not dating someone you work with. So this excuse doesn’t work for people like that. You can date your co-workers because in 3-5 months they won’t be co-workers anymore.

It also sucks to be going out with someone on a date, and realize that it is not a date. You’ve just become friend zoned, and it sucks to there with someone you like. For some reason, you keep holding on though, like they are suddenly going to realize that their perfect partner lies within you. You know, like the movies always portray it?

You’re so money and you don’t even know it!
