This is the first part of the fight to have a union, the arguing with management about what you can and cannot do. For some strange reason they don’t like to lose the power of their company to the workers who help bring in the money. First they try and do nice things for you, this helps them think that you are dumb enough to forget why you wanted a union in the first place. Then comes the anger when you are “treated so nicely” and still want a union. Then they start trying to figure out who needs the job so bad that they can’t join a union if they think they might be fired. They press these people to the point of turning against their own co-workers and friends, to the point where the worker won’t even talk to their friends anymore. It’s a long struggle, but it’s worth it to have a little say in your working conditions.
To all my brothers and sisters out there, keep up the good fight, I am with you!
Well, we only use the best, Joe. So, I just want to say… thanks again.
