It’s still weird to consider that newspapers everywhere were shutting down and were blaming the internet. Despite that people in general are just fed up with journalists, especially the ones who allow a person to say things like this and be satisfied with that answer to say “thank you for your time”. I don’t want to get all political here, because the truth is that it’s really about journalists just lying down and accepting answers that made no sense. Why they do this is pretty clear, but I really think this was the downfall of newspapers, after all you can still get The Onion on newsstands in some areas for a reason.

This was a comic on “Poorly Drawn Lines” that really tickled me about this very subject of print media disappearing. It’s funny to think about the extinction of books, they have been around for over 500 years after all, and what will be the exact reason for its extinction? Personally, I love the ebook readers and can’t wait until the technology is on par with carrying around a real comic book, then I will bid adieu to the print medium. Until then, they’ll still get my attendance in the shops.

I hope this has been an educational post for you and as always, new comics every Monday, Wednesday and Friday!

Goonies never say die!
